Privacy Policy

AI-Wise Family ("we", "us", "our") operates aiwisefamily.com and the products sold through it, including The AI Talk guide and the "How AI-wise is your family?" quiz. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it. If you have any questions, email us at hi@aiwisefamily.com.

Who this site is for

AI-Wise Family is built for parents and carers. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Information we collect

• Email address — when you take the quiz, request free content, or buy The AI Talk.
• Quiz responses — the answers you give in the "How AI-wise is your family?" quiz, so we can show your results and (with your email) send them to you.
• Purchase information — when you buy The AI Talk, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your card details, billing address, and name directly. We never see or store your full card number.
• Correspondence — anything you send us by email, such as support requests.

Advertising and analytics. If you reach us from an advertisement, we use the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API to understand which ads bring people to the quiz. This records page views and actions such as starting the quiz, submitting your email, and completing a purchase. Where we send this information from our servers, your email address is converted into a scrambled code (a one-way hash) before it leaves us, so Meta receives that code rather than the address itself. We also store the advertising and campaign tags carried in the link you arrived through. Separately, we use Vercel Analytics, which measures page and event traffic without cookies or cross-site tracking.

You can limit how Meta uses this information through your Meta ad preferences, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

How we use your information

• To deliver the content or product you requested (quiz results, The AI Talk PDF, purchase receipts).
• To send occasional emails about AI-Wise Family, which you can unsubscribe from at any time.
• To respond to your questions and provide support.
• To improve our quiz, guide, and website based on aggregate, anonymised patterns.
• To meet our legal and accounting obligations (for example, keeping records of purchases).

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run AI-Wise Family. We don't sell your information to anyone.

• Stripe — processes payments. Stripe's own privacy policy governs how they handle your payment details.
• Kit (ConvertKit) — sends our email newsletter and quiz-results emails.
• Resend — sends transactional emails, such as your purchase receipt and download link.
• Supabase — stores purchase and lead records so we can support you if something goes wrong.
• Vercel — hosts the website and provides cookieless traffic analytics.
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — measures the performance of our advertising. We send Meta the actions listed above, with any email address scrambled into a one-way hash first.

How long we keep it

We keep purchase records for as long as needed to meet our accounting and tax obligations. We keep your email on our mailing list until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or delete it.
• Withdraw consent to marketing emails at any time (every email has an unsubscribe link).
• Ask us to export your information in a portable format.

Security

We use industry-standard providers (Stripe, Vercel, Supabase) that encrypt data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information appropriately.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as AI-Wise Family grows. We'll change the "last updated" date above when we do. If changes are significant, we'll let you know by email or a notice on the site.
